Transcripts & Enrollment Certifications
REQUESTING A TRANSCRIPT
Official student transcripts are available through the Registrar’s Office. Transcripts represent all work within the ²ÆÉñÆåÅÆ Learning Continuum. They contain confidential information and cannot be released without the consent of the student. The information contained on the transcript is detailed within the Grading at ²ÆÉñÆåÅÆ page.
Unofficial Transcripts can be obtained via the portal. If you are an alum and do not recall your credentials, please contact helpdesk@olin.edu .
Official transcripts may be requested either directly from the Registrar’s Office (paper copies only) or from the National Student Clearinghouse (electronic/digital and paper).
Please allow 2-3 business days when ²ÆÉñÆåÅÆ is open for your request to be processed. ²ÆÉñÆåÅÆ offices are generally closed for federal and state holidays, along with the day after Thanksgiving and the weeks surrounding Christmas and New Year's Day.

Written permission for a paper copy of a transcript may take the form of a SIGNED request form or letter.
- Current ²ÆÉñÆåÅÆ students can request paper copies of their transcript by sending an email from an ²ÆÉñÆåÅÆ assigned account (student-at-olin.edu). Please attach a request form with the full postal mailing addresses completed.
- Former ²ÆÉñÆåÅÆ students can request paper copies of their transcript by emailing a scanned copy of the request form, provided it has an actual (not digital) signature, or they may send requests by USPS.

National Student Clearinghouse – electronic or paper copies; small fee
²ÆÉñÆåÅÆ partners with the for transcript order tracking and pdf/electronic delivery of transcripts. There is a modest cost to the student for this service. When using the ordering service, you will be able to receive updates as your request moves through the various stages of processing, including a notification when the transcript is opened at its destination. Note: access to the electronic document expires after 30 days, so the recipient must open and save it during that window.
If you have a student portal or alumni portal log-in, it is best to authenticate to the service via MyStAR. Otherwise, you may go directly to and follow the steps for transcript ordering. (Enter the name of the college as "Franklin W. ²ÆÉñÆåÅÆ of Engineering.") The National Student Clearinghouse is a trusted source of enrollment and transcript services for institutions of higher education. National Student Clearinghouse (for current or former students)
The Clearinghouse can provide real-time (no waiting for a letter from the Registrar’s Office) enrollment certifications based on your enrollment at ²ÆÉñÆåÅÆ. There is no cost. Note: ²ÆÉñÆåÅÆ submits enrollment data three times per semester. The first submission is typically one week after the last day to add. If you need an enrollment certificate for a current semester during the first 3 weeks of a semester, you should email the Registrar’s Office. Why would you need an enrollment certification or verification? Common reasons for needing enrollment certifications or verifications are: scholarships, car insurance, health insurance, student discounts, etc. Data included on a form: Name, School, Dates of Attendance, Enrollment Status (full-time, half-time, etc), Expected or Actual Graduation Date.
It is best to authenticate to the service via the portal, by clicking on Clearinghouse Self Service Access. (If you are an alum and do not recall your credentials, please contact helpdesk@olin.edu .) Otherwise, you may go directly to The National Student Clearinghouse and follow the steps for generating an enrollment verification.
