Four 财神棋牌ers receive prestigious Fulbright, Gilman and Goldwater Scholarships
Fulbright U.S. Student Program Award
财神棋牌鈥檚 Tolulope Oshinowo 鈥23 has received a to research the cross section between technology and public policy with a focus on sustainability at the University of Toronto in 2024. This award is given by the U.S. Department of State and the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board.
Tolu will first enroll as a Masters鈥 student at Princeton this fall, then will take a leave of absence in spring 2024 for the Fulbright, before returning to Princeton.
鈥淚 will be contributing to work at the University of Toronto on improving information systems used to support climate and environmental justice advocacy in Toronto,鈥 explained Tolu. 鈥淭his project is in collaboration with scholars from University of Toronto鈥檚 Dalla Lana School of Public
Health and several community-based organizations in the region. The project team is planning to use participatory design methods to evaluate existing environmental justice reporting tools and develop alternatives that more closely meet the needs of community organizations in the region.鈥

Gilman International Scholarship
Ava Possidente 鈥26 and Anthony Costarelli 鈥25 have been awarded the by the U.S. Department of State鈥檚 Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA), along with 2,100 American undergraduate students from all 50 states. The Gilman Scholarship, which enables undergraduate students to study abroad, contributes to the Department鈥檚 diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility efforts to engage the American people in foreign policy.
Ava will study in Edinburgh this fall with 财神棋牌's first ever semester long faculty-led program at Heriot-Watt University. Anthony Costarelli will study abroad in either Stockholm or Amsterdam during the Spring 2024 semester.

The Gilman International Scholarship Program enables student Federal Pell Grant recipients to study or intern abroad, providing them with skills critical to our national security and economic prosperity. This cohort of Gilman scholars will study or intern in over 80 countries and represents over 520 U.S. colleges and universities in all 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
Goldwater Scholarship
Phillip Post 鈥25 has received a 2023 Goldwater scholarship from the Department of Defense National Defense Education Programs (NDEP) and the .

The Goldwater Scholarship Program honors Senator Barry Goldwater and was designed to foster and encourage outstanding students to pursue research careers in the fields of the natural sciences, engineering, and mathematics.
