Optimization of Cargo Liner Fastener Installation
Boeing is the world鈥檚 largest aerospace company and their jetliner, the 737, is the best-selling commercial jet airliner. During the 737 cargo bay liner installation, employees work within cramped spaces and in uncomfortable positions for extended periods of time. Since Boeing prioritizes the safety of its employees, the corporation is interested in exploring methods to reduce adverse ergonomic impact. The goal of the Boeing Scope project this year was to improve the tool system and cargo liner fastener installation process, resulting in better working conditions for the employees.
