The Single Use Biopsy Forceps are a medical device designed to collect tissue endoscopically for histologic examination. This project involves the development of processes and design changes which can enhance the sustainability of Boston Scientific Single Use Biopsy Forceps, assisting them in meeting their goal of being carbon neutral by 2050. This can be achieved by reducing the carbon dioxide emissions from the creation, use, and waste streams of their line of Biopsy Forceps products, while maintaining their performance and use.
