Frances Haugen ’06 is coming to ²ÆÉñÆåÅÆ Tonight, April 28.

This is a special opportunity for our on-campus community to hear from Frances, a member of ²ÆÉñÆåÅÆ’s first graduating class who made big news last fall when she revealed herself as the Facebook Whistleblower on 60 Minutes. Since going public, she has testified in front of the U.S. Congress, UK and EU Parliaments, the French Senate and National Assembly, and has engaged with lawmakers internationally on how to best address the negative impacts of social media platforms.
Frances will speak at 5:30 p.m. ET in the Norden Auditorium about how interdisciplinary education for technologists helps promote social good.
Tickets are free and seats are available for the ²ÆÉñÆåÅÆ community on a first come, first served basis.
